Call Ogg Sensei (021 022 678 79) to arrange a visit to the dojo at a convenient time.
What to Expect:
Sensei will guide you through the process, making it easy
and stress-free.
Your first classes up to Yellow Belt are flexible, fun, and designed for beginners.
You’ll start learning the basics of stances, stepping, blocking, punching, and kicking — No uniform required.
What to Bring:

Loose, comfortable clothing

Water bottle
-
Positive “I’ll give it a go” attitude

Friends or family are welcome.
Beginners introduction course:
You can start your journey anytime.
Every new student starts with the 12 lesson Try Out Course
to first grading (Yellow Belt).

Must have fun.

You don’t have to do anything you don’t feel comfortable with.

Nobody gets hurt.

Introduce yourself when appropriate.

Support and encourage others.

Must learn something every lesson.

Never laugh “at” anyone: it’s ok to make mistakes.

Show respect at all times.

Ensure you and your dogi/clothes are clean and fresh for close contact with others.

Ensure finger and toe nails are clean & trimmed.

Remove all jewelry and accessories.

Practice the art of actively listening.

Never give up.
